cnet id

When do we get the cnet id? I'm filling out financial aid paperwork and they're asking for it. Has it been sent out already?

If you already have your UChicago e-mail address, that’s your CNet ID (e.g. if it’s roflbot101@uchicago.edu, then roflbot101 will be your CNet ID).

If you don’t, then you should’ve gotten a letter in June. On that letter, they give you your Student ID and instructions on getting a CNet ID. If you didn’t get the letter but applied with your SSN, you can use that too. The website is https://cnet.uchicago.edu/claimacct/index.jsp</a>.</p>

If you didn’t get the letter and didn’t apply with your SSN, then you can use the form on [Contact the ID and Privileges Office](<a href=“The University of Chicago Library - The University of Chicago Library”>The University of Chicago Library - The University of Chicago Library) and they should reply with your Student ID; just give them enough info to identify you. If you use your SSN to register, you will still need you Student ID for immunization forms and AlchoholEdu, but you can get it more easily from my.UChicago, under ‘Student Account Access’.
