Co-Op & Tuition

If you're doing a co-op and live off-campus, you can break your housing/meal contract.

But, do you still pay tuition? Or is tuition waived for the 2 quarters you are not taking actual classes?

sort of… you only pay tuition for the terms you are at drexel taking classes. So, if you are on campus 4 quarters a year, in theory you will be paying twice as much as those on campus 2 quarters a year. Its really cool that you can take up to 4 credits of classes on co-op, and since you are not taking classes during that time its basically free.

If you took 4 credits during every co-op term, you could earn 12 credits?

That’s pretty good!

4 credits * 2 terms every co-op * 3 co-ops = 24 free credits… which is technically equivalent to 2 full-time terms at drexel
