My D20 is confused about the Coalition Locker. She originally thought that there was a way to allow colleges to view items in the locker, such as videos or photos. But now that she is filling out her UT-Austin application, it seems that the only things it is possible to upload are the required essay and an optional resume. She cannot find a button or menu that would allow her to transfer video/photos from the locker (which as I understand it is private as a default) to the application. Does the way the locker is used depend on the specific college, i.e., UT-Austin doesn’t allow the upload of media files but other colleges do? Or is the locker really only for sharing with recommenders/counselors and we have misunderstood its purpose? Would appreciate some wisdom from those who have been through this, since the Coalition App help pages have not clarified this issue and Priority/Early Action deadlines are fast approaching.
