Hi everyone! I'm kind of considering majoring in cognitive science this fall, and I was wondering: what kind of jobs are out there for those of us who aren't planning on getting into medical/law school, or computer science? I like studying the social and cognitive aspect of mental health; it's just that I have no idea what I can do with a B.A. degree in CS.

I want something that is interesting and low-stress, but that will also be financially rewarding. Any advice will be appreciated!

The best career prospects will require a graduate degree. Given your stated interest in mental health, I’m guessing that graduate study in clinical psychology would be the most relevant field to consider. While you could enter a grad program in clinical psych with an undergrad background in cognitive science, I think a gen psychology major might be more suitable. Other areas to consider for graduate training might include an interdisciplinary program in gerontology or a program in communication disorders.
