Hey guys,
I am deciding where to attend in the fall. Which school is better academically? what about socially? Any insight that could be provided would be beneficial! Thanks!

Colby is ranked a tad better academically (this according to websites such as USNWR and Forbes); I believe Colby is ranked as the 22nd best LAC and Bucknell is something like 32nd best. However, Bucknell tends to have a better social life (almost half of the student body are involved in Greek life, and Bucknell tends to be known for that “work hard, party hard” attitude–or so I’ve heard). Colby tends to be strong in economics, biology, and the social sciences. Bucknell has great business, political science, and psychology programs (among others). Essentially, if you’re more of a party person, then I think you would like Bucknell more. But both are great liberal arts schools and, aside from rankings (which really aren’t always accurate), you’ll get similar education quality at both. Good luck in making your college decision!
