Coldplay

I am a Coldplay fanatic, so obviously I love the band. Their music gets better the more times you listen to it, and songs that sound the same at first become clearly very different from each other the more times you hear them. Chris Martin is a wonderful man- thoroughly charismatic and quirky. The band consists of four members, Will Champion, Guy Berryman, Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland-all college educated at University College London, and they split the profits evenly! They are good hearted and emphasize the power of effort. Their music takes up so much of my life because they are so amazing. Their concert last July was godly.

My Coldplay music choice varies from week to week, but my current top 5 are:

 1. What If: X & Y: soft but absolutely lovely. “you know that darkness always turns into light”
 2. Moses Live 2003: Coldplay Live 2003. I love the ending; song starts out kinda repetitive then gets fantastic at the end.
 3. Fix You: X & Y. Always my favorite song. Guitar riff at the end and four part harmony make me want to cry.
 4. Animals: Clocks B-side. Interesting because it sounds so different from other Coldplay songs.
 5. Spies: Parachutes. Listen to the first live version on youtube. This is very electric guitar and super amazing. The ending is awesome.

They are a wonderful live band. They change up their songs to make them more interesting, do fun covers, and have lots of effects including butterfly confetti for Lovers in Japan and yellow balloons for Yellow.

Coldplay is amazing cause they’re honest, talented, hard working and caring. Their music makes me love music as a whole so much more.

I like Coldplay alright. White Shadows is a pretty cool song and I liked the Viva La Vida album. Don’t listen to them daily, but I like them every now and then.

Viva La Vida should be the last on your list of songs, as it is most recent. Their older stuff, as well as everyone else’s really, is better.

Coldplay’s fine, but only when I’m in a certain mood.

They can be boring (not exciting) and a bit cookie-cutter for me.

Well, I’m not a guy, but thanks for the suggestions everyone.
I’ll start tomorrow.

They were my favorite band for a long time, but I sort of overplayed them and got a bit bored. I recently bagan listening to them again and it sounds very refreshing.

My personal favorites are: Fix You, Life in Technicolor ii, Till Kingdom Come, Violet Hill, and Viva La Vida. Favorite lyric is probably “I don’t want a cycle of recycled revenge, I don’t want to follow death and all of his friends.” Gives me goosebumps every time I here that line.

One of the most talented and composed bands I have ever listened to.
