Anyone get in?
Rejected
Wait listed
@user_778131 Sorry. Something better is on the horizon!
So does waitlisted mean you find out with RD? Usually ED kids would get deferred not WL so I thunk that means you wonât get another answer for now.
It said she wonât hear until after May 1st. So as kids who were accepted reject their spot, theyâll hit up the waitlist. More waiting.
I think waitlists will be common this year.
D21 Accepted!
stats?
can anyone share their stats and grants?
D21 accepted stats: 34 ACT, 4.2 GPA, 11 APs, lots of strong ECs
I was accepted as well! Thank you to all who were helpful in the process-- I am willing to help anybody who needs more information, advice, etc.
Congratulations!!! Stats?
Thank you!
-GPA: 3.91 unweighted
-SAT: 1470
-4 APs (Psych, U.S. Gov, Lit, French) and honors course load
-----My school does not offer many AP classes-----
-Strong recommendations from two teachers that I am very close with
-Why I think I got in: Apart from my grades, I think that my essays and extracurriculars fit well with my college goals and it was apparent in the application. My Common App essay was an anecdote that demonstrated my passion for Economics and I have multiple leadership positions in extracurriculars that coincide (Investment Advisory Council volunteer, Economic Research Society President, etc.)
Let me know if anyone is interested in more information!
hey! can you go to your applicant portal and change the âstatusâ to âdownloadâ on the link?
Does anyone know how many were accepted in the last 2 RD2 acceptances from how many RD2 apps?
Sorry meant ED 2 not RD!
Guys, do you think it is possible that RD come out on 3/20? CSS has this date as the financial aid release date. 2020 & 2019 RD were on 3/21 so it is not crazy to assume 3/20 this year, right?
I hope so. All of the rest of Dâs schools (even the ones that released decisions mid March last year) have pushed out TY decision until the 27th or later. It would be great to get Colgate sooner.
I called and asked if regular decision will still be sent out in mid-March or if they think theyâll be pushing it out further and the student who answered the phone said they are still planning on mid-March! Last year, it looks like they sent it out on Sat the 21st and did not send an email before decisions were posted - just one after they were updated telling the kids to check their portals.
10 days!
Well we donât really know that yet. Letâs hope. Going on last yearâs date and a phone call isnât anything set in stone. Lots of Dâs schools released decisions mid-March last year and have now pushed the decisions until very end of March. I hope Colgate wonât do that.
