Early Decision I results come out in just a little over two weeks, and Early Decision II results vary since it’s on a rolling basis. I figured it would be good to start a thread where we could all talk and discuss! Maybe this can ease the anxiousness of waiting for the decisions. :-/ With that said, let’s get posting!

Quick question regarding Colgate’s decision notifications: although the website says all decisions are sent out tomorrow by mail, I have heard rumors that deferrals and rejections are sent by email, while acceptances are not. Can anyone confirm/disprove when they are sent out and by what means of mailing?

Hey, @mosam97! Based on what I’ve heard, everything is sent out by mail to all domestic applicants. I don’t think it matters if it’s an acceptance or rejection. The only people who get emails if they are rejected are internationals.
Good luck to you too!! I applied EDII because I missed the deadline by a little over week when I decided to do Early Decision. I should be getting my decisions just a couple days before Christmas since EDII is rolling. It’s very nerve-wracking to say the least. :-/
My daughter received her acceptance via FEDEX an hour ago. She isn’t even home from school yet…so she doesn’t know!
