<p>I am interested in joining an interest group at the U of M. I applied to the U of M as a freshman, but declined the admission and went to another school. Now, I again have applied to the U of M for spring of 2014, but I just recently heard that the interest group that I am interested in is charting in the fall of 2013. I don't want to miss my chance to start the journey with them. I am wondering if I can join the interest group even though I am not currently enrolled at the U of M? I don't know how the school system work, but I think my name is still in the U of M system. Can I possibly still join the U of M interest group before it's too late? or When I get my confirmation about my admission to the U of M for the spring like in early Oct. or Nov., is it possible to still join the interest group even though they are already in the process of being chartered?</p>

<p>You can probably join the group if you just contact that group and tell them your situation.</p>
