Hi,
I’m an EU student, from Spain and I wish to study in the UK. I already have all the application filled out. I applied for psychology in Cambridge, Westminister, Queen Mary, London Metropolitan and Leicester.
Additionally I have an average score od 8-8.5 out of ten. And these unis are asking between 7 and 9 out of 10. Do I have a realistic chance of getting in? Or does me being a non UK citizen lower my chances?
Thank you for your help!
You are not a non-traditional student. You will get more/more relevant help if you post in the international students forum (<a href=“International Students - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/international-students/</a>), or the UK specific applicants forum (<a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/united-kingdom/”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/united-kingdom/</a>). Cheers.
Alright! Thank you:)
They make no difference between UK and non UK, only Eu and non Eu.
London Met is super easy to get into so don’t even ask the question :).
Cambridge is totally at the other end of the spectrum and their criteria are different, since you may have exams (writtenexam, standadized tests, and/or “interview” which is an oral exam, all depending on course and college).
Thanks a lot! The truth is I don’t actually have a very realistic chances of getting into Cambridge so I’m going to change it for Nottingham or Sheffield and this way I have more opportunities.
Do yourself a favour, don’t go to London Met!
^I second what Leglariat said
