Hey, guys well I was just wondering about this site. College Admissions Assistance | College Admissions Assistance
I recently received a letter a few weeks ago about attending this workshop which I will most likely be going to this sunday and well I was looking it up online, I have found not much, but a forum created here in 07' and after reading it all, I was wondering if it is true that they may pay for my college? I'm hoping to go into law school, and well i'm an AP student taking 4 ap's next year and all honors. (never tried out for IB, but whatever.) and well my parents aren't very wealthy and I have decent grades A's and B's and once in a while I will get straight A's. So is this worth it? I heard from the other forum that after the speech/workshop is over they ask for $1995 and my parents don't know much english, so yeah, but i'm not an idiot and usually not fooled (I tend to fool others instead.) hopefully I will get into law/ or bussiness. Any opinions about this CCA? Is it to good to be true, or just another waste of time. btw I run track, play piano and do journalism /yearbook/newspaper at my school and some other things if that matters and i'm hispanic.

Lol, calm down.

They operate like a guidance counselor, but they will know more and do it for free.

They will not pay for college or professional school. Also, I don’t think I need to hear your full life story, just your question. Lastly, if you have a low income, most top 25 schools will cover all your ‘demonstrated need’

Apollo11 thanks, i’m just worried about college, since my school is competitive and my family is low class. Sorry if I added more than needed.

I would be wary of this sort of propositon- rarely is anything done or offered for free. Read all the fine details, and I advise against committing to anything with a few.

^Surprisingly, many of these college consultants do this pro bono stuff…

In fact, I’d ‘shop around’ with other consultants to see if they will do the same and if they are more succesful

Dude, they don’t pay for your college! I don’t know where you got that idea because that’s not part of the program. My parents and I went to the workshop and it didn’t cost a thing and the guy who spoke knew his stuff about what it takes to get into the right college. We signed up and my Mom pays a little bit each week or month…not sure exactly but it’s been worth it. They have coaches you talk to and software that keeps everything organized…there’s a lot of s#*t to stay on top of including finding money. They help but they don’t pay for college.
