Does anyone here know the members on this website working as a college admissions officers? I know there are a few on here, but I can't recall who they are.

I want to learn more about careers in college admissions, and feel they would be the first ones to ask.

Thanks

joined the NACAC and learn more about it from their official website

Low paying, lots of travel. Not many make it a career, lots of young grads do this for a couple of years before grad school as I did.

Salary.com says the average salary is $81,000. Then again, this is the pay for the Chief Admissions Officer.

That only takes about 20 years to achieve at most schools. Dartmouth’s current director just got the job last year, she’s worked there since graduating in 1984. At Penn I think Stetson had the job for twenty some years.
