Since college visits are canceled, I was hoping that people who know them well could share a little about the atmosphere/environment of the schools I’m interested in, such as…
-teaching style of the classes
-competitive vs collaborative environment
-what students are passionate about
-what a typical student is like
-what people do in their free time
-values of the school
-general vibe of the school
The schools I’m interested in are Pitzer, Scripps, Pomona, William and Mary, Macalester, University of Rochester, Tufts, UW Madison, UC Irvine, Lewis and Clark, and Reed
Comment some insight for any of the schools
thanks
I think you are asking to much here for 12 schools, you may be better off checking on a different site like maybe Unigo.
Each of those places has its own subforum inside the Colleges and Universities Forum. You should ask your questions there: http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/colleges-universities/
One thing to check for, is how the current students feel their institution has handled the current crisis. That will give you a sense of what the place is like when the worst happens.
good idea, thanks!
