^UNC is overrated. They’ve lost all their best players and their still put into the top 10. Why? Just because they’re UNC. Unless they can win key games against Michigan St. or Duke, I have a hard time seeing them go past the Sweet Sixteen.

And the troubles keep coming for Duke. Harrison Barnes, the top recruit in the country, picked UNC today as the 'Heels steal another prize recruit from Duke.

Great day to be a Tar Heel.

No. We’re in the top 10 because we have some absolutely ridiculous freshmen playing, as well as Ed Davis, who would have gone in the top 10 in the NBA draft last year and will probably go in the top 5 this year. UNC could easily win another national championship this year. We’re easily a top 5 team in terms of overall talent.

UNC will be a solid team, but this is not their year to win the championship. They had an NBA caliber team last year, and it will take a little while to be back at that level.
Top 5? Maybe

I’d say the most notable development over the past week would be UNC losing big to Syracuse on Friday. Strong showing by the 'Cuse, and hopefully UNC recognized some of its weaknesses so it can work to rectify things before some of the bigger games on its nonconference schedule come up (at Kentucky, Michigan State, and vs Texas in the Cowboy’s Dome in Dallas).

Purdue vs Wake Forest will be a great game next week. Looking forward to the entire B10/ACC Challenge.

UNC was certainly over ranked at #4, but they will finish top 10/15 certainly.
I think my Demon Deacons will surprise this year. Aminu will certainly be a contender for ACC POY and Ari Stewart and CJ Harris have looked great.

I agree, the Big 10/ACC Challenge will be interesting. It will be a great gauge for Wake Forest to play against such a quality team as Purdue.

Like I said before UNC is overrated, UNC losing to Syracuse just proved my point. I see them as a top 15 team at best. They’re just too young and most of their players are inexperienced, it takes more than talent to win. The Big 10/ACC challenge will be awesome to watch this year. I see the Big 10 taking it. What’s interesting is that there have been some mediocre performances by top teams. Kansas almost losing to Memphis and Michigan State almost losing to Gonzaga was a definite surprise, and Stanford might win against Kentucky. Right now it’s 61 - 59 with 1:27 left. It’s still early but there’s definitely a lot of competition this year.

My prediction: Clemson will start off 16-0 before going under .500 the rest of the season and then losing in the first round of the ACC championship and losing in the first round of the tournament…always happens to us

National Champion Texas Longhorns!

Looks like Clemson already lost so maybe start off 15-1?

Purdue beats Wake :)

ughh MSU loses again they defeated themselves. At least it was to a worthy foe!

ACC/Big Ten Challenge is shaping up to be pretty nice so far, 3-3. I might have to pull for Duke for the first time ever today so that the ACC can win the Challenge for the 11th straight year.

Yeah the challenge is really good. Very good teams playing each other that they are all very close games. The Duke and Wisconsin game will be very interesting without a doubt.

Despite two early losses, I still see MSU going far. MSU always seems to lose a couple early in the season because they don’t play a cupcake filled schedule. The tough schedule will pay off in the tourney :)

Clemson blew a 23 point lead in the second half and ended up losing to Illinois. Unbelievable.

yea… so did William and Mary. Go Tribe!

B10 captures the B10/ACC Tourney!!!

go CUSE!!!

Well, the ACC lost the challenge for the first time ever, but UNC beat Michigan State and Duke lost to Wisconsin, so I’m not disappointed in the least.
