College Board promises changes to SAT in response to Reuters articles

The maker of the SAT, America’s oldest college-entrance exam, promised to streamline its new math questions and scale back the reuse of tests, a longtime practice that has made the exam vulnerable to cheating. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-college-sat-test-idUSKCN11T1UQ

Okay Collegeboard

It was either that, or providing ell 's with dictionaries on the math section and extended time…

The bit at the end is interesting. It’s the first time (to my knowledge) that the CB has admitted its recycling program is a problem, and while Coleman doesn’t say they’ll cease test recycling, he does say it’s something to aim for and that the CB will recycle less frequently.

I’ll believe it when I see it, of course, but it’s a good sign.
