@CSI: Does your school have some type of super fun week or do you just move in and do whatever?

•Moving in - August 18th
•Official Move In - August 21st
•Start of Fall semester - August 26th

My university has Week of Welcome and a 50 day thing.

Ah my have boiler gold rush with is suppose to be this highly-motivated, making new friends week. I look on my schedule. It doesn’t really start till sunday. But it suppose to be all week yet it end on Wednesday (night). I think we can do whatever we want on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

I don’t know how my first week schedule actually plays out…I move in the 19th, have my Honors retreat (which includes some sort of formal dinner), sometime on the 20th and 21st I have to do some D-hall training, the 21st is move in for everyone who doesn’t have early move-in, and then the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, & 25th are New Lancer Days…Then classes start on the 26th…Still don’t know what time I have in there to find my classrooms…

Pre-orientation move-in: Aug 20
Move-in: Aug 26
First day of classes: Sept 3

Descuff: Super happy fun time pre orientation program (only some students do it).

Idk when I move in, but I think it’s sometime in late August.

No move in for my community college but class starts Aug 19th!

Omg i went there today to pay for my classes and being all alone with no familiar face (unless the security guards count) was soooo scary. I felt a little nauseous & excited, hopefully on a real school day I’ll be ok

August 31 is when I arrive on campus, but there’s then a whole week for Community or Outdoor Action and then a few more days of orientation and then…

Serious respect if you guys keep this going throughout college. I feel like the HS threads always disband, for whatever reason.

I need to stop posting in this thread

ADDICTION

^They disbanded because it was impossible to keep up with them. It would aways just be a couple of people and they would have conversations non stop, so it was really hard to keep up with them lol

Just came back from orientation, had a ton of fun! But in 2 days I got a total of 7 hours of sleep…

We are the 13est. We will outdo every other years that came before and that are yet to come.
Right, Mint (happy belated bday btw) and Niquii?

You’re damn right!

All them other classes better recognize.

Hmm, I don’t get this thread. No offense or anything (a little maybe ^^), but nobody has posted anything funny, smart or even remotely interesting in this thread ever. I would recommend you guys/girls start a fb chat, since this is just annoying to “read” (zombiciously glance at). Have a nice life in college!

If you don’t like this thread, ignore it. No one is making you post here. If it bothers you that a group of a CC members wants to establish a thread where they can turn to through college then that is on you.

Sorry.
Not sorry.

Every posted is interesting to us. And we are in our downtime so we are not as good as we will be yet.

The point of this thread is to share our experience throughout college. If you don’t like it, stop looking at it.

Seriously, you can leave. We’ve been talking for well over a year so we actually um what’s the word… SUPPORT each other even if it is pointless. As des and niquii have said no one is forcing you to look at this " boring thread" so bye.

“nobody has posted anything funny, smart or even remotely interesting in this thread ever”
“this is just annoying to “read” (zombiciously glance at)”

These two statements are actually contradictory. If you haven’t actively read the thread and instead just glanced at it like a zombie, you can’t know the full content or context of what has been said.
