Unless you’re the type of guy who sets anything on fire that you try to make, you could just buy cereal/whatever and have it in your room. Then you’d have your 3 square meals a day.

But that’s just the perspective of a lowly rising junior. ;)

Mine isn’t by Meals, its by what you buy. So if i just want an apple i only pay for an apple. Plus 150 " flex dollars" which i can use at like applebees and stuff and replenish as i need

My is a mixture.
There are 5 meal options:
7, 10, 12, 15, 20
7 come with nothing else per week.
All of the other come with “dining dollars” that can be used outside of the typical dining courts.
I choose the 12 meal plan because I don’t see myself eating alot and it have the most dining dollars. 24 per week is outrageous even with Sunday open.

I chose the 14 meal plan…But I also get a meal when I work (two maybe three shifts a week)…Then there are the bonus dollars…I only eat like twice a day so I’m not sure if I’ll even use the 14…

I know my dining dollars will be useful on sunday when few dining court are open for lunch, one dining court open for breakfast, and all are close for dinner :/

Yeah, USF is by swipe as well. My breakfast will be fruit on the says which I have a late morning class and waffles, eggs, etc on my 8 AM classes. I have it all planned out. When I’ll be going to the library, which dining hall I’ll be going to. :)

Unlimited swipes and $250 in food money. If I need to pay for food I’ll use that are just use my debit card

Purdue is also by the swipe (to the buffet). I don’t imagine myself eating breakfast so I’ll be using my swipes at on-the-go locations where they have simple snack and drink to go

i fast when i’m at my college, lol. but i’m a commuter and usually i can get home by 1 if i put my classes in the morning to eat my first meal of microwaved brussels sprouts and then have an afternoon nap, so it works out okay.

i feel bad zombiedante got paired with THAT roommate, he will HAVE to update us on how the situation evolves.

Totally off topic, but I just got my schedule fixed, so not only will I be able to skip history until 1877, but I’ll be talking like a. 3rd grade math class. It’s a class on teaching children math and I will be in it with my best friend! Turns out I’ll have half of my classes with her :D

omigosh Zombie has to make like a roommate journal in CL. I’m so looking forward to the stories.

I’m planning on eating three meals a day with one or two snacks. I need to be in my A game this semester. No starvation or junk food binging going on for this freshman.

@Descuff For ~$3500, that fruit better be fresh and my bacon better crispy.

Hey idea! Whenever we move in and stuff we should make a roommate thread just to like journal and stuff. Just for our class too! Post there discuss here. What do you guys think? Know me I will probably this is a dumb idea as soon as I post it lol, but what’s your say?

It could be called:
“Diary of a Mad Freshman: Roommate Edition”
“Get Me Through One More Semester: Roommates”
“Sugar, Spice, and Everything Not So Nice”
“Grin and Bear It: Roommates”
“Don’t Tell the RA my Roommate is Dead”
