I think it’s an eggcrate mattress topper, Mint.

LMFAOOOO! The struggle.

A bed caddy is like a pouch container thing you can hook onto you bed to put things in. I have a lofted bed so I need it since I won’t have a nightstand next to me.

@Mint. 0.o I don’t know if that’s good or bad…

An eggcrate is like a topper. I’ve seen the same thing called different names.

Good gawd! That’s what you mean? In that case…I’m looking at one right now!

Well, actually, Gtown is too safe. In terms of violence, think the opposite of Django Unchained. That’s why I am bringing the mini-chainsaw and having CSI bring the bonesaw, so we can liven the place up a bit. ;)

And I have to apologize again for my posting absence. Y’all have been extremely productive, but I’m concerned that the discussion is complying too closely to the TOS. ;)

If we keep it college related we should be fine.

I bought my minifridge and microwave today.

That’s a step in the right direction I guess…

I keep looking at my New Lancer Days schedule…And it’s scary how packed it is…

New Lancer Days?

Yeah…My school has all this stuff planned for us in the first four days that all the newbies are on campus…It’s called “New Lancer Days” and pretty much they’ve planned where we are every minute…There’s fun stuff then there’s campus safety talks and all that stuff…

And then there’s the Honors Retreat stuff that we do before everyone else moves in…And somehow the other Honors kids working D-hall and I have to find time to go to training…Such a mess of stuff to do…

Sound like my boiler gold rush.
Equally busy.

We have something like that, although it’s not required. I’m a free woman! Well…actually I have a program that runs the week before school starts, but other than the pogram hours…I’m a free woman!

Meh. It’ll be worth it. And the boring activities are interspersed between the interesting ones. I can’t wait!

I mean this with all due respect, but why do y’all still use an actual alarm clock? Isn’t that what smart phones are for? Not just smartphones, but cell phones in general? Even the most basic of phone has an alarm function on it.

Your phone can’t be used as a docking station…It can’t play the radio non stop while not plugged in. It won’t display the time without interaction. And another reason: I don’t want to.

No.

I don’t leave my cell phone in front of my face to check the time every 10 minutes.

Phone not loud enough.

Vibrator is not as strong.

There will be no way to put phone near me by bed unless I get crazy with the extension cords.

I can clearly see the time which give,me more of the incentive to wake up if I see that I have 20 minutes to get ready.

I haven’t used an alarm clock in like 2 years

I haven’t used one in four years because my mom always got me up at the perfect time so I could take a shower after her and before my dad…

I think it is still necessary as people often lose track of time. An uncovered clock would give you the sense of how, long you’re doing something especially if you’re studying.

Yeah. I’m taking my old clock radio with me as an alarm. I’m hoping it’ll actually wake me up. If not, I’ll get a new one. Thankfully, I have a week to test it before classes start.

I’m not getting one. After my orientattion I realize how rude it is to set an alarm when the people in your room aren’t on the same schedule as you are. my roommate set her super loud alarm clock at like 640 when my phone was set at 7 and she didn’t even wake up to turn it off.

You should be working that out with your roommate, though. People have been doing this for years so it shouldn’t be difficult. Although I don’t see the value in 20 more minutes of sleep…
