The banter here is great, but I miss all of y’all on HSL :(

I’m being impatient and I want my purple hair…I’m debating skipping the second bleaching (because I’m dying it dark purple, not bright) and just going ahead with the toner and then the color…

Ok, so I think I’m all done packing! I never realized how many sweaters I own, it’s bad lol

@SerenityJade, be careful with that! What color is your natural hair? Sometimes purple on somewhat bleached hair comes out looking super super dark.

My hair is naturally a light brown. Dyed a medium brown. Stripped and bleached to be a very bright yellow orange. I’m going to tone it with a purple toner so it’ll be a sort of greyish color before I go purple. I’ve watched somewhere around 50 hair dyeing and/or bleaching videos in the past week trying to make sure I get it right.

Deeper gasp They were so many wild threads! Plus, I’m not sure if his grammar would be a good influence on Lindsay.

Hmm, maybe we should gift him to kyp and CE.

Also, did you just say that your hair is
Serenity?

What the-?
I am not up for adoption!

Haven’t used my old Macbook in a week, and now coming back to it quickly after using the Air yields a few observations: I like the black bezel a lot more, and the new Air keys are not as clicky.

I really need/want/need to talk to my roommate about what we are bringing and how to fit it in. Who gets what side, how much space can we take up, who is moving in first, etc. How do you suggest I go about doing this?

zombie, I think you worry more than everyone I know combined lol. plan to get there at the same time and figure it out then. If you are worried abou not having enough space i am going to say maybe you have too much stuff!

Lol yeah I’m a worrier. I like to have a plan for everything. I think two people moving in at the exact same time into a small space would make things WAYY to hard an complex though.

It doesn’t have to be, i think you’re psyching yourself out, unless you’re moment in furniture should be OK, and is not like your room is tiny. 195 is pretty big, me and my roommate are going to arrive at the same time.

Zombies just bluntly ask him

Well I kinda am moving in furniture lol…

@Descuff Alright. Here I go

Yes because it is…I used a color remover to strip most of my layers of dye out then I bleached it.

Exactly. You’re for sale. For $12.

I know I’m late…

Well if he’s as curt as make him out to be you should be blunt and extremely comfortable.

Which side of the dorm do you want? I want the one next to the window?

You’re bringing the fridge, right? We’re not sharing, right?

What time are you moving in?

You bringing a TV?

And Zombie, when we make the Diart thread please, please share stories of you and your frat roommate. :)

Sigh…final schedules are out tomorrow, rooming assignments will be out “by the end of the week.” Very specific. /s

It’s been really frustrating for us (the roommates) so far because our first-choice dorm (mixed underclassmen) has doubles, triples, and 1 quad. We either get the quad, a firedoor quad (2 connected doubles) or two entirely separate doubles. Half the dorm is apparently reserved for honors housing so we’re doubly screwed. I just got my hands on a floor plan and it looks like we have a good chance of ending up in a firedoor quad which is fine by us.

But it’s made shopping for things a pain in the royal behind because we’re like “do we get 1, 2, or 3? or 4?” We made a preliminary Target run on Saturday night and only spent like $70 on the things we’ll definitely need (2 drying racks, 2 small wastebaskets, 1 full-length mirror, command strips). We wanted to buy MOOOOOOOORE ~

Ugh, my college is so slow about everything. /rant

Oh, CRAP!

Descuff’s life=Tried

I was wondering how long it would take for you to catch that comment…
