I already posted earlier but I just went to my school and made my schedule 2 days ago! My move in day is August 23rd and I have orientation the 24th-28th and class starts the 29th. I’m taking 16 credits and my classes are:
First Year Experience (only one day a week)
Introduction to Fashion Business
Introduction to Algebra (bad SAT scores)
Writing Essentials
Retailing
Marketing
Monday’s and Wednesday’s I have class 9:45-12:55
Tuesday’s I have class 8-2:40 (longest day)
Thursday’s I have class 9:45-2:40
I’m more of a morning person and on weekends and during the summer I’ve always worked 7-3pm shifts so my one 8am class shouldn’t be terrible plus I have the rest of the day to explore NYC (:

Oh man my move schedule moved up. Now officially leaving in 2 weeks. Crazy!
Leaving next week. High school started today. Kinda sad that I don’t go there anymore…

@Stylesvoguex Based on your courses I assume you are going to FIT or LIM. NYC is a pretty cool place so have fun.
@bm1999 yes! haha I applied for LIM for early admissions but FIT didn’t have early admissions and I’m the first one to go to college in my family so I wasn’t exactly sure when I should’ve applied to FIT but by the time I had to commit or deny to LIM for early admission acceptances I didn’t hear back from FIT and I didn’t want to risk it so I just committed to LIM. Around a month and a half after I got my FIT acceptance letter which kind of sucks but by then I already paid the housing and first semester for LIM. Plus at the open houses LIM just looked a lot cleaner and more appealing even though FIT has a bigger name. I may or may not transfer depending on how this year goes. Sorry for the long shpeal that you probably don’t care about, just surprised someone has actually heard of LIM. But thanks (:
4 classes on Tuesday. 2 of them are 2 hours long. One is 3 hours (Chemistry Lab). One is an hour.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have a four hour class from 6 to 10. RIP my social life.
I moved into my dorm!
We don’t have air conditioning; I’m awake because it’s too hot to sleep.
Dorm move-in is today and tomorrow.
I’m hoping the traffic won’t be too bad for everyone attending my 50,000 undergraduate size university.
I’m moving in this Thursday and classes start Monday. I’m super excited to start classes since I’ve decided to change my major. However I’m still holding out hope I’ll get into two courses im on the wait list for.
Still got a month left till orientation lol. It’s been kinda boring since a lot of my friends started school.
I’m enjoying college, besides some insane roommate issues!
I go to orientation tomorrow and move in on Saturday! Literally all of my friends from home have started classes already lol
