I would love to delete old PMs. I also delete emails after I read them.
Can this be done from an IPad…or only from a computer.
I found it…but it will take me a LONG time to delete all of the PMs I couldn’t delete while that feature wasn’t available!
I’m just not a saver of these things. But I do keep important PMs!

When accessing this site on iOS is anyone else getting a lot of redirections to ads that “mimic Facebook” and you have to exit safari to get rid of it?
Yes, many are. I installed iOS 1Blocker which stops them. These are likely automated ads placed through Google etc. They may be impossible to stop, short of some new web protocol. Cat and mouse; Google can stop one of them, and the crooks just create another.
Anyone else getting a spontaneous refresh of pages? Desktop edge.

I don’t know if this has anything to do with the re-launch, but I just discovered that I no longer receive notices for a thread I’ve had bookmarked for quite some time. I can still see the yellow star (denoting a bookmark) when I’m in the thread, but the thread doesn’t appear in my list of bookmarks. And there was a post today, so I know it’s still active, and it appears it has been all along.
Now I’m wondering if there are any other bookmarked threads I’ve lost track of.
UPDATE: I just went back through my bookmarks. It shows the most recent post as “MAY 2017” and my last post (#948) was in fact in May 2017. Well, it’s June 2018 and the thread is now at 1823 posts! No way I’m catching up now. Argh.
After years on CC, why do I now sometimes hit the backpage button and go from Full SIte to the mobile format? In no way do I ask for this. It happens a couple of times/week.
And the former screen jumping issue is back, for me, on my android. The page loads, I go to click some line, and the screen moves so I’m hitting the ad or the forum name (not the post,) etc.
What did y’all just do? Now the header is even worse!
Ah! I figured out what happened! If for some reason your browser window gets a little bit too narrow for the header, it suddenly starts to stack things vertically, making it take up even more room on-screen than it did before.
Seriously, y’all—reduce the padding in the site header. It’s not pleasant.
I like the new icons for notifications,PMs, and starred threads - it looks great!
Also, what happened to the bookmarks shortcut (the star) in the header? It was there recently, but is now gone, at least in my browser.

Okay, makes sense. It wasn’t there for a while (actually, neither was the settings icon, now that I think about it).
I wonder, given this experience and some earlier ones, if my habit of leaving a CC window open in a background tab makes user interface changes go wonky at me until I restart the browser or do a force refresh.
