College Essay Help!!

So basically I'm writing an essay for Questbridge and the prompt basically says to describe an achievement/experience/dilemma that I faced and the impact that it had on me. I was thinking of writing about this leadership summer camp for Red Cross that I've been a staff for two years for. I've heard different advice and wanted to know if talking about a camp is too cliche or not. I guess you could argue that it depends on how I write the essay but I just wanted second opinions. The camp itself is incredibly life-changing and the group of high school students that plan it spend well over 100 hours putting it together. Any advice as to how I could make this topic work or if I should just avoid it altogether? Thanks! :)

okay and I just realized that I accidentally posted this in the wrong section but I don’t really know how to delete the thread so its just going to stay here :expressionless: lol

If the camp truly did impact your life in a significant way, then you should absolutely stick with it. Just make sure you have a great voice in your paper
