<p>I'm looking at applying to Art schools for college and most of them do not use the Common Application. For Art schools, they want your essay to be about who you are as an individual or artist and then to talk about interests and/or goals.</p>

<p>Now on my end, I've written an essay except, it's for 2 of the schools on my list that uses the Common Application. I have a deadline coming up pretty soon for one of my schools so I'm just wondering, would it be ok if I use my Common App essay as the statement of purpose for an Art School?</p>

<p>I forgot to mention that in my Common App essay, I wrote about a situation I went though that made me who I am today.</p>

<p>Sure reuse as long as it is relevant to the prompt and appropriate to the college. Otherwise tweak it.</p>
