No, but we’ ll be at JOs in Richmond.
We won’t be there, unfortunately. My son qualified, but he’s away at semester school and it’s too expensive and disruptive for us to pull him out.
Will you guys be at nationals in San Jose this summer?
Any suggestions for format or lay out of a fencing and academic resume? My son is sophomore and we want to visit a couple of colleges/coaches this summer.
I suppose I would include:
height, weight, right handed.
tournament results
GPA, 10th grade PSAT score
Coach and club
High School
Those are the basics. Just stating the obvious, don’t forget weapon, rating, and contact information. Also, class rank and AP classes taken.
Skipping Cap Clash this year, but reg’d for JOs and planning SN in San Jose.
We’re planning on SN in San Jose as well.

Next month? It’s in two weeks! Driving down Friday for events on Sat and Mon.
I will be there Sat only for JMS (arriving late Fri, leaving early Sun). Should there be a meeting of CC parents on Saturday?
The kid and I will be there on Sunday and Monday. I’d be game for a meeting…
If anyone wants to meet at the venue on Saturday before or after JMS, I would be up for it.
This will likely be my last national fencing tournament before turning over my son to his college program.
It is our hope that we will have a family vacation this summer that has nothing to do with fencing for the first time in four years!
