College help pleaseee!!!!!

Helloo I am currently high school senior. I got admitted to Cal State Fullerton and I am really considering going there. But I have some questions that maybe you can answer. I want to go into Business so I am going to get a Business major. I read that they have a good business program. I read about the Entertainment and Tourism business program. That sounds kool, what do you think? Does it provide opportunities? Do you know anything about that?

Are the business classes very hard? Also, I applied for housing but i doubt i will get a room on campus b/c there are so few dorms right now. How would i go about getting an apartment off campus? If i dont know anyone, how would i get a roommate for that, what is the cost? Lastly, i applied for financial aid, if you did, how much did you get? Thanks!!!

What are your other options?

UC Riverside

Go to Riverside as I suggested before.

im going to Fullerton b/c they have an entertainment and tourism business program. I dont want to have boring classes in college.

Boring classes aside, keep in mind that the best jobs in the entertainment and tourism industry often requires certification from highly competitive industry schools or well known universities–not what Fullerton is offering.

As for housing, check craigslist and other local newspaper personal ad sections for rooms for rent.

What do you mean industry school? Fullerton has a concentration and provides internships

You can get internships through any university–they all have such resources. Industry respect certain schools’ graduates and the more “prestigious” the school/program, the better.

Entertainment and tourism is a business - and not necessarily all that entertaining if you’re not the client. On the boring scale, I’m not sure that studying business as applied to that setting is much different as opposed to business in any other setting.

Yes it is due to the fact that you know you will study a field that you are interested in.
