College in Navy

Hi there,
I am unsure where to really post this question, so if it is in the wrong forum, sorry!
I am currently enlisting into the Navy as a Navy Diver Medical Technician, and want to do a biology degree. I figured with the Navy, I would have to take online classes for college since I will be unable to attend an actual college. However, the problem that I am finding, is that I can not find any colleges that offer a Bachelors of Science in Biology that are online? Is there even a Bachelors of Science degree online??
I have plans to attend Graduate School with the end goal to become a College Professor, how credible are online college degrees and will they help me get into good graduate schools? I am unsure how long I plan to stay in the Navy, so if I decide to reenlist, I plan to get a Masters Degree online. Would that put me at a disadvantage compared to another person who received a Masters Degree at a College and is going for the same Ph.D program?
What I am basically asking is how reputable are Online Colleges when considering that the end goal is getting a Ph. D? And, are there even any Online Colleges that offer a Bachelors of Science in Biology?

Thank you for all the help, and sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum.

You can complete your enlistment(s) in the Navy and then use veteran’s benefits (GI Bill and some preferential tuition rates at many colleges and universities) to fund full time attendance at a college that you can get admitted to.

Many of the biology and chemistry courses needed to major in biology do have labs, which are hard to do on-line.

If you decide that you really like the Navy and want to make it a career as an officer, you can also apply to the Naval Academy while enlisted (but the Naval Academy does not have a biology major).

Online courses aren’t your only option. Most bases have college satellite campuses on them, offering evening, weekend, and online courses. You may want to wait until you get to your first duty station and then start detailed college planning based on college’s available on base. Those colleges typically are very supportive of the military lifestyle. Good luck!

Thank you! Do you know if these college satellite campuses have a major for Biology? Do you know if there is a website were I can look up more about these satellite campuses?

Yeah, all the armed services offer a lot of different options to take classes: some online, some on military bases, and some on college campuses near the bases. Most are very reputable. You will have to check individual bases to find out if they have bio.
