College in UK?

It depends on the specific course, but as the deadline for most courses for UK students is in January I wouldn’t worry yet.

I’d contact Oxford if you don’t hear from them in the next couple of days, especially if you intend to go to Oxford for interview rather than using skype.

S just heard today that he’s been granted an interview at Oxford. His college must be among the last to announce interviews. So exciting for him!!

@MomCares - Congratulations to your son and good luck!

my daughter is at University of Edinburgh. They had her application for a month and she really wanted to go so she sent admissions an email about this time two years ago (early December) and politely asked whether they would be making any more offers before Christmas and they immediately wrote back saying "Oh, its looks like you’d really like to attend, so we will send you out a formal offer today."So, I bet if you just give them a ring, or send an email, they will make her an offer.

Thanks, @boomting and @Edinfan!

I’ll pass that info along to S and see if he’d like to ping Edinburgh before the holidays or wait until he’s heard back from Oxford (where he interviewed last weekend) and UCL (where he’s been having an email interview). He has sent some test score updates to Edinburgh recently, so I assume they know he is still interested.

Is anyone else at cc engaged in applying to UK schools this year?
