I've been really enjoying college so far as well. I feel like I know 1/3 of the people on campus, though I'm sure I don't, and I'm meeting new people every day. I'm doing clubs, and hanging out with friends, and I still have time to get all my homework done.

The only things that are starting to irritate me are repetitive cafeteria food, lack of sleep on some nights, and the difficulty of getting into shows at this school.

^ dude don't be an *******. Some people just started school and are having bad experiences. that's nothing to laugh and make fun of.

to all the bitter people though...Personally my first half (like... 3 weeks?) sucked but its quite fun now XD so cheer up and don't be depressed.

College is okay, I really don't like it that much. I never really discuss it with my mom because I keep thinking she'll be "mad" at me. I've been here since August 19th, still not feeling any better. Homesick? No, I enjoy being away from home. But there's something about the college that's not clicking with me. I'm in two clubs so far, but nothing really helps. It's just weird..I feel like I'm living day to day, but for nothing (yea, I know it sounds weird). Finding people to connect with has been difficult, because I'm social. and I hate dorm life...I can't stand it.

I wish I had as good of a start on my freshman year as you did. I'm not bitter and angry, though. I'm happy that you're having a good time. I love college, and I love the friends I did eventually make (I'm a sophomore now). I never want to leave.

I'm really, really enjoying myself. Although the work is pretty difficult, it is 1000x better than high school. The only time i've really missed home was 5 minutes after my parents left me, but I got over that within a few hours. Seems like a shame its only 4 years though--the weeks go by FAST!

Oh most definitely it goes by fast. I still can't believe I'm a quarter of the way through my sophomore year already. Freshman year went by so fast! Y'all enjoy it cause I wish I had enjoyed mine more.
