<p>i just wanna say how much i love college so far. ive seen too many threads about freshman having hard times and stuff, and i feel bad for them but i just want to make a positive one. this has been the best expirence of my life so far! and i only been here a week. i love it i love it i love it!!! every night i meet someone new. and just now as im typing this post someone acidentally walked in here thinking it was his dorm. it was the funniest thing ever. omg i love it here. ive never been this social in my whole life. one night my voice was starting to go horse from talking to so many different ppl. its great, and i kno this sounds cliche but its a once in a lifetime expirience. and its awsome!</p>

<p>Yeah, I'm absolutely loving college as well. I've been here for just over a month, and it's amazing.</p>

<p>Yeah, I've been here about a month too. It's pretty fun, but I'm only slightly more social than I was in high school, which still isn't much. But I've got old and new friends so it's alright.</p>

<p>I like college but I'm ready to move on. There are only so many parties to go to, so many times its funny to see drunks fall down on the streets, and so many games of certain alcoholic table/card games. I'm getting sick of the immaturity, the complete disregard for money and values, and the lack of direction. At some point kids need to stop being kids. College is that time. On some Saturday nights I want to go out and smack some of the drunkards and tell them to get it together. Sleeping through classes because of staying out too late... disrespecting professors... so tragic. </p>

<p>... it sounds like I hate college but I really don't. It's been really fun. A lot of good friends, a lot of good long nights. It's great that you're having a good time in college but make sure your priorities are in order.</p>

<p>You go to Penn State, it's not as fun as UCSB. The OP goes to UCSB and so does a buddy of mine. My friend has had the same experience as the OP and in order to have fun, you have to know how to socialize.</p>

<p>Nothing is fun about college. I've joined some stuff and whatnot but I'm even more depressed now than I was before (though I do look forward to the meetings I go to). So much that I'm thinking of just going AWOL and finding a nice blue collar job.</p>
