College meeting 100% STUDENT FINANCIAL NEED?

What BobWallace said is important:

Schools that meet 100% of need will meet each student’s full need (as the school calculates it).

Schools that meet less than 100% of need . . . well, they can do anything they want! An 80% need met school might give you NOTHING, and a 24% need met school might like you enough to cover EVERYTHING!

If you’re at the bottom of the applicant pool for a school that does not meet 100% of need, don’t hold your breath for a good FA offer. But if you’re one of the tippy-top candidates, and they’d be lucky to get you, you could get an amazing offer! Just remember that there’s no guarantee . . . so, no matter how good your stat’s are, a school that doesn’t meet 100% of need cannot be considered a financial safety school.

^ What’s been stated above is VERY important. There are no absolutes in Fin. aid until you apply to each school with your specific situation, you won’t know what you’ll get.
