There still could be a few coming in off the waiting list as things settle down over the next month. A few students who are on waiting lists for other schools may get in and decide to go there instead of Midd. One or two students may find that they need to take a year off, for whatever reason.

Still, if you are on any school's waiting list, now is the time to start learning to love the college where you've put your deposit down. You'll be much happier next year if you aren't still thinking of what might have been. And most students who are wait listed and go elsewhere end up being very happy.

It's so crazy how accurate their projections can be. Woohoo I am one of the 564 September Midd Kids!

Oh, no...
I feel worse about withdrawing now : /

Were you accepted somewhere else of the waitlist? Why are you withdrawing?

I just got a phone call today from Middlebury, admitting me off the waitlist - I'm SO excited. It does happen, keep hoping!

Congratulations, emmyk.

Yeah, congratulations. That's great news for you! Next year's gonna be awesome, I'm telling you, I can't wait.

I think there are going to be a decent amount of people admitted off the waitlist (despite the fact that the class is 'full') now that Harvard and other Ivies (not Dartmouth, though, probably the school that would steal the most students from Midd) are announcing that they are taking quite a few from their waitlists.
