Hello,
I wanted to know what your opinion is on $200/month as an allowance. The money goes into my gas ($40), food ($130), & utilities ($30). (I am currently doing unpaid research -- so no, I don't have a "job" T_T) Do you think $200 per month is a lot? I personally think it's a decent allowance; however, my parents believe it's too high.

Do you really need the car? Can you bike or walk or take a bus?

Do you get free/ pre-paid school from your college?

Are you sure that’s the cost of utilities? Seems a bit low imo. What would that include?

I think that’s fine. I mean, I have a job, and I pull in about $400/mth and do okay. I also splurge a bit more since I have a job, but I could totally make it with a lot less.

Do you have a meal plan? If so, think about spending less on outside food. Food is so expensive, and it truly drains my wallet. If you can limit your purchases to just mostly gas and anything that pops up, you could probably get by on a lot less if you need to
