College NOW

Pre-College Issues High School Life

Hi All,

 Tomorrow there is a meeting at my high school for a program called College Now. Essentially, if i enroll, I will spend my senior year of high school at the local community college. My parents are encouraging me to join so my family can save money for college tuition. I was wondering if anyone here is or has been a part of the College Now program. If possible, could you tell me what the program was like, what kind of commitment it requires, and what benefits does it give? Thanks!!!!! :)

I’ve never been part of this sort of program, but I know a guy who goes to Stanford who did it his senior year. He also said it was far easier than high school.

He had other unique extracurriculars though, so it probably wasn’t just his senior year that got him in.
