<p>I am curious. Are CS majors now enrolled into general engineering for the first year? CS is in the College of Engineering but it is quite different from engineering. Also, the CBK courses for CS are quite different from those of the engineering majors.</p>

<p>Yes, on the offer letter it states
the major is engineering and the preference is computer science.</p>
<p>This is what I would have guessed. I am not sure that it really matters nor do I see the benefit of handling CS this way.</p>
