College of the Holy Cross

Hello there! I am a Junior at East Greenwich High School in Rhode Island. I am evaluating my short list of colleges for my upcoming senior year. Based on this year’s decisions on admissions for Holy Cross, could someone take a look at my stats and let me know how I look? I would greatly appreciate it!

Freshman year: Honors English, US History, Honors Biology, Latin 2, Phys Ed, Ceramics, Research in the Digital Age. Algebra 1.

Sophomore Year: Latin 3, Honors English, Honors Chemistry (D in this class), Honors World Civ., French 1, Geometry, Phys Ed.

Junior year: AP Literature, AP US History, AP Psychology, Honors Sociology, Honors Anatomy and Physiology, Honors Latin 4, Journalism Independent Study, Algebra 2

Senior Year (anticipated schedule): Honors British Literature, Phys. Ed., Honors Latin 5, Mass Comm. and Media, Honors Big History, Statistics.

ECs: Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper for 3 years, President of class council one year and class council member for three years, Organizer of Choose2Matter (a huge event at our school, I will go into detail on application), Cross Country athlete for the past three years and varsity two of them, volleyball athlete for the past three years and varsity two years, Numerous other clubs and affiliations.

Jobs: Senior Lifeguard at a nearby beach, Teacher Assistant at Bryant University of the summer, Secretary at an interior design company, intern for Jack Reed (RI Senator), Religious Ed. Teacher at local parish, Sacristan at local parish.

Tests: 1200/1600 on New SAT. 650/800 Reading, 550/800 Math.

GPA: Weighted-3.6

So based on course rigor and extra curricular strength, how do I look?
