SAT - 2160 (760 - CR, 760 - Math, 640 - Writing), I'm giving it again in November to try and increase writing to about a 750.
Subject tests - World History - 800, Math II - 740, Literature - 600 :( I'm repeating literature in December, don't quite know how I managed a 600 cause I was getting above 700 in all the reference books (including Barrons). Should I give Math II again or is 740 sufficient?

Academically, I've never been too good. I'm in the Arts stream with my subjects as english, math, political science, economics and psychology.
9th - 85.7%
10th - 89.8%
11th - 76.2%
Additionally, I am the president of the debating society and a member of the students council in my school. I have to try and get an 85%+ in my pre-boards, not quite sure how I'll manage that, but I messed up my half yearlies horrendously so I don't have an option there.

With regard to ECAs, I'm involved in debating, theatre, quizzing and model UN.
In terms on quantity, I've won 12 debates, out of which I'd say probably 5-6 are quite prestigious ones in Delhi, 2 at the zonal level and I have 2 national level ones coming up in the last week of October, just keeping my fingers crossed for them.
Debating is my main ECA, but I have won 2 theatre competitions and 3 quizzes, though again only at the state level. However, I have been the quiz-master for two national level quizzes, one of which was organised by the ministry of health, and have been the master of ceremonies for various school functions.
I have won 3 best delegate awards and a best position paper award and have been on the executive board of various MUNs, but haven't been able to participate internationally in a conference.
Also, I'm in involved in a project of a youth run organization in a slum in najafgarh in delhi. I'm making a documentary of the area, trying to show the contrast between the various societies in Delhi.

Teacher recommendations won't be a problem for me. The heads of the departments of political science and economics, the ECA in-charge and the principal have agreed to give me recommendations. Unfortunately, due to my school being an extremely competitive one in academics, my class rank would probably just be in the top 10% if I manage an 85% in the pre-boards.

My parents aren't too eager on me applying to the US, as they feel it'd be a lot safer to do law from here rather than do economics/international relations from abroad, so I am preparing for the CLAT simultaneously. They've also said that they won't let me apply to more than 6-8 colleges.
I need substantial financial aid and I cannot go without that. So well, I figure I might as well work hard, apply to only my dream colleges and hope for the best. Below is a list of, well, my fantasies. Let me know about 7 colleges for which you feel I might have a chance, keeping the financial aid requirement in mind. Thanks :D!
