Is anyone familiar with nursing schools asking students to retake the SAT in hopes of the scores increasing? One of my friends has been offered to take it from a school in the northeast…just wondered if this is common practice. Thanks…
Most students will see a score increase the second time they take it, with smaller increases after each additional time. The college may have a minimum cutoff for nursing.
There are also some colleges that will give higher merit aid if you get a better score even after you are accepted.
