I’m a senior in high school and I am taking dual enrollment classes with the local community college, but my final grades for first semester come out after the application deadline. Should I plan on sending the college transcript for that semester as soon as it comes out or should I just not worry about it?
You are obligated to send what is available as of the deadline. If it isn’t available, you can’t send it. You can send it after the deadline but there is no guarantee it will ever be seen.
Send the transcript when it becomes available. Even if your application has gotten its first review, the transcript and transfer credit will be in your file when final reviews are made. BTW, it is ridiculous to say “there is no guarantee it will ever be seen” – the transcript will be processed for whatever transferable coursework it contains, even if it arrives too late to be part of the admission review process.
