College View Is A Attack Page? O.o

As I was using CC’s college search feature and clicked on the link “More School Info” under a school’s mini-info block that takes you to College View a page popped up, by Google mind you, that it was a reported attack page.

Far as the security preferences on my browser I’ve always had them and this is the first time this has happened to me. So with that being said, what gives and how can this be fixed?

CollegeView.com experienced some type of hack within the ad system which allowed infected ads to be served for a brief period. Our technical staff has fixed that, but it is possible that Google may show the warning for a while until they verify the issue has been resolved.

This did not affect the College Confidential forums or info site.

Sorry about the problem! Our technical staff is working to ensure the hack can’t happen again.
