Is there any place where I can get the answers to the 8 practice tests that are found in the blue book?

the online course

is that the only place? I read in my blue book that there are some free score reports. Do you get answer explanations there?

no clue.. i use the online course for the explanations

is it that helpful? Would a person be able to get a good score on the SAT without the online course and just the blue book?

bump .

nahh just use the blue book

Ok to get explanations on your blue book:

go to collegeboard.com and go to your organizer. In the My SAT prep tab, in the organe (my status), it should have the hyperlink official book.

You can go in there and enter you answers to get official explanations

depends on what score you want. if you want a 2000 dont buy the online thing. if you want above 2200 the online course and bluebook is a must

is the online course that necessary?

I know it's kind of like a big rip off. It expires after every 4 months. That's why I already spent like $180 bucks buying that thing 3 three times in a year (parents finally got fed up. now i gotta pull all the savings together for that last purchase. great...special thanks to collegeboard)

There are also a couple of Solution Guide books available on Amazon. I have no idea if they're any good.

In fact, they are almost assuredly violating copyright laws, which is the reason I don't offer a solutions guide. I don't expect them to be around for too long, but it really depends on how aggressive the CB wants to be pursuing them.
