<p>My daughter is applying as a transfer. She heard from 2 different colleges that due to some glitch in the new Common App, they are unable to view her application. Anyone know anything about this, and when it's supposed to be fixed? TIA!</p>
<p>Don’t panic. This has been known for at least two weeks by the colleges. They can’t download the CA into their databases so if a student doesn’t get a confirmation email or portal information that is why. Most colleges have sent my DD email updates or have an update about this on their admission page. What is “funny” is to see many of them gently suggest students use another type of app rather than the CA. </p>
<p>When is it suppose to be fixed is anyone’s guess. CA Executive Director is claiming it will be fixed soon. I am just waiting to see the giant explosion on Nov. 1 when a lot of ED or EA apps are due so my advice with your DD is to apply at least 5 days before any deadline.</p>
