Colleges that are generous to intels...

I was wondering if there were any schools that are financially generous to international students.

I know that besides HYP, all colleges are need-sensitive.

Can you guys recommend some need-sensitive colleges that are "relatively" generous to intels????

Williams college gives need-blind as well for international students.
It's no. 1 in liberal arts college so I would recommend it..

wondering the same thing .... :S

thanks dash,
I'm obviously applying to need-blind schools
I was wondering about schools like duke, washu, and some other schools that are relatively easier to get into than HYP and Williams.
I had Carnegie Mellon on my list but I recently found out it doesnt give financial aid to intels, so i crossed it out.
Can anyone suggest schools that are generous to intels and strong in science/engineering?

I have researched quite a lot before :p and I really haven't heard of any universities that give need-blind to international's except for HYP, Williams..
Duke, washu, Brown, Upenn, Stanford, Columbia, JHU and etc don't give need-blind for internationals, but only give financial aid for limited people. I think Stanford is out of my list just because they don't give financial aid once you finish undergrad.
The conclusion is that whether need-blind or financial aid, the competition is extreme, and the only hope you can depend on is the good performance in highschool being well-rounded and etc
Good luck!

guys. use the search tool. there's a thread here with my post with how many aids they give to intels (for each school).

Duke i heard is good with intels. but Washu is heard to be stingy,as well as JHU, as well as Cornell.

MIT is needblind to intels. And their engineering/science programmes are obviously one of the best in the U.S or even the world.
I cant remember if it's U Mich ann arbor or North carolina chapil hill that has good enginerring pgrme. I think its UMich? I've heard of practically no intels having big problems with aid there.

I heard that UPenn is quite strong in the engineering field (i think..sorry I'm getting so confused with Wharton busns school and everhting) and they happen to give good aid.

Bogororo, this cc guy who goes to Amherst said that Amherst may become needblind to intels next year so ask him about that. (or check the school site)
And one more thing - Stanford is very stingy with fin aid, if you are an average/below-average applicant.

goodluck :)

this one's about a guy wanting to go into an engineering field

but in that list, it says Middleburry is needblind. It is NOT needblind though.
