Colleges with good disability services for ASD kids

<p>TRIO programs address three categories of eligible students: first-generation college, low-income, and/or learning disabled. Go on US Ed web-site, and search for TRIO program’s list of participating colleges. Not all colleges participate, but the list of participating schools is quite broad - from very selective universities to non-selective community colleges</p>

<p>This program made the difference in S’s college choice, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). It was a gift from the powers that be, especially considering that the dx that qualified our son for this amazing program was provided to us only a few days before he visited as an accepted student. The program was made for him:

It offers one-to-one peer coaching by graduate students, a director who GETS it, case management. The accommodations are through their disabilities coordinator, who was terrific.</p>
