Colleges with lots of attractive girls..

Oklahoma City University.

Big MT and dance programs.
The most Miss Americas and the most Radio City Rockettes from any school.

That website used to list Bama as having A+ girls. Now it’s an A…however, the girls (and the guys) are really good looking.

I put blinders on my H whenever we’re on campus. I, on the other hand, keep my eyes peeled. ;)

You know, if you have 10,000 students at a university and you select those 10,000 people on criteria unrelated to appearance, your distribution of good-looking, average-looking, and not-so-good-looking people is going to mirror the general population very, very closely. UNLESS, of course, those people are in fact, really being chosen largely on the basis of their looks.

So, you all are convinced that certain campuses are actually selecting better-than-average-looking female applicants, huh? I wonder how that works? Are there adcom hounds who check out female applicants on Facebook and rate them from 1-10? Do they stalk the campus tours and radio one another to “check out the hottie in red?” However they do it, they must have learned it from Vanderbilt, since CC guys have been convinced for years that Vandy Admissions has raised the “babe-stalking” initiative to an art form!

Here are a couple of observations - In the South, young women are culturally inclined to be a little more fastidious about clothing, hair, etc. than in some other parts of the country, and they’re also wearing sundresses in months when their Northern counterparts are in sweatpants and hoodies. And in any culture, 18-to-24-year-old females are undeniably the most beautiful people on the planet. Anyone who encounters any campus with thousands of young women they’ve never seen before is bound to come away impressed.

Not necessarily, gadad.

I think that the admissions process does affect the distribution quite a bit. I mean, the distribution of good -looking girls who are able to get into MIT and the distribution of good-looking girls in the general population are going to be quite different. This may be an extreme example, but I think it would be foolish to say that you’ll find the same percentage of attractive girls at a school like Northwestern as, say, Arizona State.

James Madison University-JMU, has beautiful girls at every corner.

UCSD, UCB, MIT, University of Chicago, Cal Tech, and Harvard. Haha no, but you should really check out USD (University of San Diego) its a private school overlooking Mission Bay in SD and has 4,000-5,000 students . USD has one of the most beautiful campuses that I have ever seen and nearly 60% of the student population is female. They were also ranked as an A+ for colleges with the most attractive girls.

You do know this is a two year old thread, right? Second OKC U from Missy Pie.

Not mentioned yet… Bucknell

Boston College is a good school with very good looking people.

But if you had to ask about the #1 school with the most attractive girls it would have to be ASU.

So are you saying that intelligent women are unattractive or that women who study technical fields are unattractive? (Both claims are incorrect by the way, just wondering what flavor of chauvinism you’re espousing.:))

As a preliminary note, hopefully a frank discussion of this subject is not offensive to anyone. However, to the extent that many people actually consider attractiveness of other students in deciding where to attend, it’s important to address this subject.

I agree with gadad that the adcoms aren’t selecting applicants for attractiveness. They wouldn’t, as they have no incentive to do so.

However, it’s likely that people self-select an institution based on their own attractiveness. Attractive people are going to want to be around a critical mass of other attractive people so that they don’t stick out and get a lot of unwanted attention. Unattractive people are going to want to be around a critical mass of other unattractive people so that they’re not the only unattractive person around.

Ultimately, the limiting factor is whether the environment makes it possible to meet people you’re interested in dating. It’s insufficient that such people are nominally enrolled on the same campus as yourself. In general, do you fit into the culture? If not, you’re likely to be unpopular, and that doesn’t exactly help with dating. Also, it’s important to look at how the social scene works. In particular, at many schools with a reputation for attractive women, you have to be in the Greek system to meet most of the more attractive women. If you’re unwilling or unable to go Greek, you’d be better off at a school not known for attractive women but with a more open social scene.

Good Lord, this thread is packed with strange notions. yes, I know it is 2 years old

Firstly, inasmuch as physical attractiveness is important to OP, we need to understand what OP thinks is attractive. Any particular ethnicity? Any particular height/weight? Any particular hair color? Athletic physique or more soft?

Let’s suppose OP thinks thin, medium height Asians are his cup of tea. Then we need to find out which Universities would have a higher % of such students. Or maybe he’s looking for someone middle eastern looking, maybe 5’3", with dark hair and green eyes (just like many women in OP’s family). Maybe OP like jewish women. Or maybe likes the Scandinavian look. Who know WHAT OP thinks is attractive?

You see, how can you even answer OP’s question without knowing what OP thinks is attractive?

yeah, guys are flocking to Bucknell to find babes…(rolling eyes)

LOL at this thread xD

My friend grew up in the Rio Grande Valley; she was the only Anglo girl in her HS graduating class. Everyone considered her to be rich because she bought her jeans *new/I. She is so funny when she describes how shocked she was when she hit the Baylor campus…everyone “dressed” …even for football games.
