<p>35% A's is actually very generous for a curve. </p>
<p>Anyway, as I've said a million times before, grading differences between majors are much bigger than grading differences between colleges. Humanities at MIT is very grade inflated. Premed at Harvard is still going to be tough.</p>

<p>Gauging from graduating honors at my school, it appears 3.5 is 85th percentile for Mechanical Engineering. Pretty brutal if you ask me. 35% A's? I'm assuming like ~50-55% B's then. That is ultra-generous.</p>
<p>lol I would love it if my classes required 35% A's. That almost never happens at state schools.</p>
