Well, Coloradans happen to enjoy winter also, except for us the mention of winter conjures up images of deep powder in the Rockies under bluebird skies, not 5 months of gray-cloaked, windswept prairie with the mercury frequently dipping below 0 F courtesy of Arctic blasts/polar vortices. I appreciate that some (maybe many) Minnesotans claim to enjoy their winter - I just don’t understand it.

OP, I can only imagine how tough it would be to have to turn down Carleton. But CC is a special place, and the next four years are going to be an amazing adventure. Congrats and embrace all that is to come!
