So I want to do an extracurricular activity next year and I cant make up my mind! Should I do drama or colorguard?? Which looks better to colleges? Im not really interested in colorguard. Actually im not AT ALL interested in colorguard. I was just thinking it might look good. What I really want to do is drama but i dont know which is more impressive???

Do what you think you would enjoy doing, not something you hate.

Neither is particularly high in the wow factor. Do what YOU want to do more and throw yourself into it.

Add a wow factor by organizing a trip for kids from an inner city school to see your drama production (or produce one on their stage). Or something.

Colleges don’t care what activity you do as much as they care that you are involved in something. If you prefer drama, that is fine…take on a big role, become an officer of the club, and sylvan’s suggestion is excellent as well.

If you’re not interested in color guard, then do drama. You’re far more likely to do something impressive in an activity you actually like.

You could pull a me and do both and dance and APs and then die.
But yeah, colorguard sucks most of the time, theatre is almost always fun. Do drama.

I wouldnt do what is most impressive, do what you love no matter what. People respect that in the long run. be yourself. i honestly LOVE colorguard it teaches you so many things that are helpful in so many areas. It is a really challenging sport and allows you to interact with others and be creatative!
