<p>People have been asking for it, so I thought I would make a thread. This is for all Columbia Class of 2012 Early Decision admits: please post any relevant data that could help those who still have to wait for a decision. This can include extracurriculars, SAT (reasoning and subject) scores, ACT scores, GPA, awards received, and any familial ties to columbia. If you want to include ethnicity information as well, go ahead. </p>
<p>I will start it off:
SAT Reasoning: 2290 (on 2400 scale) and 1540 (on 1600 scale)
SAT Subjects: Math 1c: 740 and Literature: 720
GPA: 4.7 (in a school that gives 4.2 for A+ in regular, 5.2 for an A+ in honors and 5.7 for an A+ in AP), which translates to 3.98 on the 4.0 scale
ECs: Soccer 4 years (1 year varsity), volleyball 3 years (1 year varsity), chess club 4 years, tutoring and out-of-school volunteering, NHS member
Awards: National Merit Semifinalist, American Math Competition school winner
Familial ties: my sister graduated from CC cum laude and my parents work at the medical school (not as professors)
Ethnicity: White Jewish Male</p>
