<p>brutal stats, but congrats to those that made it into the class, and those that did not - you gave it your all, but please know that it doesn't mean that columbia doesn't think you're smart, brilliant and going to change the world. in fact it is my sincere hope that you will - but schools have limited spots and therefore have to be discerning and choose some students and not others.</p>
