I would love to go to columbia. My cumulative GPA is 3.88 from freshman year and three quarters of junior year (I'm a junior). This year I have gotten all A's except for a B+ in IB math 1st quarter and an A- in TOK third quarter. My sophomore year I spent in Paris at an international school so it is not part of my cumulative. I was graded with the American system, but the teachers, who were mostly from the UK, graded much more harshly than at most American schools. I was third in my class out of about 50 in Paris and I received a 3.3 the first semester and a 3.5 the second semester. I'm worried this might ruin my chances...

I will (hopefully) be receiving and IB diploma at the end of next year, so my course load is extremely rigorous. My higher level subjects are dance, english, french, and chemistry and my standard levels are psychology and math methods. I'm also taking the AP french, literature, and chemistry exams this year. I will probably take AP art history next year and also AP BC calc.

I am in dance company, NHS, and french club. I volunteer at a center for children who have experienced abuse or are autistic.
